My primary responsibilities include designing and developing consumer facing, Java based web applications. Specific technologies that I work with are Java EE 8, AngularJS, node.js, JSF, DB2 SQL, and JSON. I work in an agile scrum team that participates in daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and grooming. Additional responsibilities include meeting with customers to gather requirements, facilitating meetings for project discussion when needed, and participating in code reviews.

AccuWeather

Working with Java and Appium to write automated QA UI tests to ensure app build stability. These tests are then run on the cloud through a device farm service called TestObject. Other duties include maintaining a Git repository, performing code reviews, and participating in daily stand ups.

I currently take on web redesign projects. The redesigns I create utilize Bootstrap and JQuery to give the websites a modern feel along with the ability to scale to mobile platforms. Interests

Aside from my professional life I enjoy doing many things. My hobbies consist of playing guitar, skiing, programming, and playing games with my friends. I grew up near Little Pine State Park in Pennsylvania so the outdoors have always been a huge part of my life. During the winter I am a part time ski instructor at my local resort through which I have taught countless people how to participate in one of my favorite activities. Overall, I'm very passionate when it comes to both my work and my hobbies.
